Notes: When Leo Grady Johnson was born on September 9, 1914, in Washington, Georgia, his father, Vernice, was 24 and his mother, Sylvia, was 21. He had one brother and two sisters. At the age of 29 he enlisted in the US Army and served until he was Honorably Discharged October 1945. He died on July 15, 1965, in Dauphin, Pennsylvania, at the age of 50, and was buried in Penbrook, Pennsylvania. |
