  Notes	Kathy Marshall 6 years ago Joseph Ingram willed his daughter, Cynthia Ann, slave Matilda in his 1834 Will. In the 1840 census, Matilda was listed with Amos Price indicating that she had been freed before 1840. Later, it seems Matilda married Jacob Jeffries. Bef. 1840 Washington County, Maryland, USA Joseph Ingram bequeathed his young family of negroes to his children who were still living at home in 1834. Matilda was given to Cynthia Ann Ingram who married Amos Price in 1838. By 1840 they were living in Cavetown with a free colored woman.
