Notes	In memory of Wilbert, the son of Wilbert and Katie Belcher Stovall. Following the death of his father, Katie remarried to a Thompson. Wilbert began his Vietnam tour on July 26, 1967 attached to the 3rd Marine Division, 1st Battalion, 13th Marines Regiment, Hqs Btry. It was just 11 days until Wilbert would be rotating back home to Harrisburg, PA when he was assigned to Operation Scotland. He and Sgt David Adams Russell were hit by a mortar round. AWARDS: Purple Heart and Good Conduct Medal He has been remembered by friends and fellow Marines as being courageous in his own quiet way, a class act and a fun loving guy that was always smiling.
