    FOUND DEAD.
    On Sunday last Daniel Zedrix, probably the oldest colored resident of Tuscarora district, this county, was found in bed. Zedrix was formerly a slave Maj. Nicholas Holtz and was almost octogenarian. He had been in feeble health for some time past, but was noticed sitting at his door some hours previous to his death.
    The old man was considered eccentric in his habits. He lived alone, and for the past several years on the anniversary of his birth had been in the habit of delivering an address the cross-roads near his house.
