Rev. Dr. Israel Derrick officiated and addresses were made by Rev. Mr. Hood, Rev. W. H. Marshall, pastor of Harris Zion church, and by Rev. Moses B. Puryear. The church was crowded, and many floral tributes of all descriptions were sent to the church by the best of friends of the deceased.
Mr. Roller was bom at Front Royal, Va., and came to this city with his parents when a boy. He served as janitor in many of the public buildings, and at the time of his death was employed at the State capitol.
